Eileen Hadidian has appeared in concert throughout the Western United States. She was the founder and artistic director of Hausmusik, an early music concert series in Albany, CA. Her involvement with music for healing grew out of her journey through breast cancer. She used music for her own healing, and began to play for other cancer patients. She has been exploring ways in which music can be used to help soothe critically and chronically ill people.
Natalie Cox is principal harpist with the Oakland East Bay Symphony and performs throughout the Bay Area as a chamber musician as well as for TV and film. Her earliest public appearances were for people in informal settings, at fairs and in hospitals. She continues this work, believing fully that there are more places for live music than on stage.
Maureen Brennan is an accomplished performer, playing both classical and Celtic music on the Irish harp. She has toured throughout the U.S. and Canada in a variety of ensembles, specializing in traditional dance music, and song of Ireland and Scotland. Maureen continues as a soloist for Irish and Scottish events. She teaches at workshops and conferences throughout the U.S., and has recorded five CDs, including the acclaimed Harpestry collection.
A relative new-comer to California, Canadian Patrice Haan is best known for her vocal performances with the Oakland-based jazz ensemble Leftover Dreams. She enjoys interpreting traditional Celtic tunes and original compositions on her lever folk harp. Patrice is the past president of the Bay Area Folk Harp Society, and has recently released her first album of original songs, for harp, voice and other instruments. Since her first experience of music for healing, while she was part of a care-giving team for a friend dying of cancer, she has continued to look for ways music can touch and comfort the deep part of the self.
