Early Music at St. Alban’s

This concert series benefits Healing Muses’ efforts to bring healing music to Bay Area hospitals, clinics, convalescent homes and homebound individuals.
The concerts take place in the sanctuary or parish hall (the sanctuary is wheelchair accessible).
Healing Muses is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

This is a healing concert series held on the last Sunday night of every month. It was started by English-born, Bay Area singer/songwriter and music healer, Clare Hedin. In her own words:
“In a climate where everyone is really busy and the world is operating at a fast — and sometimes unnerving — pace, I decided to create an environment for just one evening a month where people could
come together and just be in each other’s company. An evening of openness, where the artists
could present themselves as well as their craft; talk about their personal philosophy, about how their
relationship to music expresses their relationship to self, to life, to the environment — and play in an
atmosphere of peace and connection.”
